No kidding, y’all, I highly recommend keeping some safety pins with you at all times. They’ll come in handy when you least expect it! I arrived at church one Lord’s Day, and was horrified to find out that both side seams in my skirt were essentially disintegrating. Black skirt, white slip, and opening side seams don’t make for a good mix. So, I dug around in my purse, pulled out my handy-dandy safety pins, and made it through the service just fine. 🙂
Use safety pins for:
- Last minute repairs on outfits and more
- Modesty (Pin between buttons on your blouse, down the slit in your skirt… Pin your necklace to the neckline of your shirt or dress, and ensure that it won’t gape when you bend over!)
- Last minute tailoring (create pleats, tucks, and more with a safety pin or two. Make it fit, and give it more style/character!)
- So much more!
