No-Bake Chocolate Oatmeal Cookies

“No-Bakes” are our go-to snack and dessert. They’re fast, easy, and only use a few ingredients.

Ingredients:

  • 1 stick Butter (1/2 cup)
  • 1/2 cup Milk
  • 1/3 cup Cocoa Powder
  • 2 cups Sugar

Mix above ingredients, and boil hard for 1 minute.

Then, add:

  • 1/3 cup Peanut Butter
  • 1 tsp. Vanilla
  • 3 cups Oats

Drop by heaping tablespoons on wax paper and let cool.

We traditionally used standard cocoa powder, but have lately enjoyed the special dark. It does, however, require just a teeny bit more cook time.
