Make Yourself Vulnerable – Part 1

This is a series specifically centered around casual hospitality… There is certainly a place for formal hostessing! But, not every situation calls for candlelight.

Step Number One Relax exported

Some of the best hospitality I’ve received has been casual and homey. It’s been the times when I’m allowed to wash the dishes or sweep the floor; those times when I am allowed to see the REAL hostess. When a hostess makes herself (and the reality of her home life) “vulnerable”, relationships are deepened. These are your dear friends – they can see your broom closet. They can see your junk drawer. They can see your imperfections. Allow them that privilege.

Relax when your guests arrive. No… Seriously. I mean that. Let your hair down.
