One of my best friends in a classy, casual, feminine outfit.
I have probably addressed this to some degree in earlier posts. But, this is a big topic. Thankfully, for day-to-day American life, our gentlemen don’t have to think very hard about their attire (but, please don’t neglect the topic altogether!). We women, however, do.
(After more research, I’ll be happy to cover the topic of men’s clothing in later posts.)
We get a lot of jokes, songs, stories, and conversation around how excessive our wardrobes are. Are they founded on truth? Absolutely. Is there any rhyme or reason to “every” woman owning a vast wardrobe? Yes again. To begin this series, we’ll refer to Emily Post’s recommendations for women’s casual attire.
Casual
- Sundress
- long or short skirt
- khakis or nice jeans
- shorts (depending on occasion and climate)
- plain t-shirt (no slogans), polo shirt, or turtleneck
- casual button-down blouse
This is very basic, comfy, but can still look classy!
