In the Kitchen – Coffee Station

Thanks to a search on Pinterest for the picture…

For those of us who have coffee drinkers in the house (or tea drinkers, for that matter…), here are a few ideas:

Create a Coffee Station

  • Choose the most convenient area to place your coffee maker (and grinder, if you use one).
  • Designate a cabinet above this area for mugs.
  • The cabinet or drawer beneath your coffee maker can hold filters, coffee beans, sugar, tea bags (and other tea-things), etc. NOTE: Choose a pretty jar or bowl for the sugar, and set it out in the morning with the hot coffee. It’s a simple detail, but so much nicer than an unattractive bag or old container.
  • In the cabinet above the mugs, you can put your favorite add-ins like amaretto, Kahlua, and such. This keeps them out of reach of the children, but convenient for your coffee drinkers.
