How to Use Biscuits

Now that you’ve mastered the art of biscuit-making, here are a few recommendations for what to have with those biscuits. And, by the way, these make for wonderful meals (or additions to meals) to have with guests! You can make a whole lot of biscuits for a reasonable price, and put almost anything on top of them for a great breakfast, lunch, or supper.

  • Country Ham
  • Pork Chops
  • Sausage Patties
  • Sausage Gravy
  • Tomato Gravy
  • Chocolate Gravy (despite how strange it sounds, it’s amazing. I’ll try to remember to post a recipe soon!)
  • Jams and Jellies
  • “Goulash” (which, in our family, refers to an amazing dish made with lots of fresh corn, okra, tomatoes, and – of course – bacon)
  • Molasses and Butter
  • etc., etc., etc.
