- Do: Remove your apron before joining everyone for the meal (unless you have a lovely hostess apron, of course).
- Don’t: Use your own knife in the butter.
- Do: Remember to set out steak knives, if the meal calls for it.
- Don’t: Offer unmanageable dishes or utensils to young children (sharp knives, large glasses, etc.).
- Do: Keep an eye on your guests’ drinks, and offer to refill them when appropriate.
